Detailed Look at Your 2013-2014 Xavier Musketeers

With the final addition of Indiana transfer guard Remy Abell, Chris Mack hits send on the 2013-2014 Xavier roster. It’s finished. Though still a plethora of question marks surrounding highly talented recruits, this team will field an experienced, battle-tested core that could make the Musketeers a real competitor in the Big East 2.0. And if there’s one thing that isn’t refutable, Chris Mack will have the luxury of a full bench at his disposal, a focal point of frustration in many second half collapses last season.

Semaj Christon, Soph. G – 15.2 / 2.9 / 4.6

Isaiah Philmore, Sr. F – 7.5/ 5

Chris Cantino, Sr. F – 12 / 8.9/ 1 (Palm Beach State (CC))

Dee Davis, Jr. G – 8.2/ 1.7 / 3.4

Matt Stainbrook, Jr. C – 11.4 / 6.8 / 1.9

Justin Martin, Jr. F – 7.9 / 4.7 / .9

James Farr, Soph. F – 1.2 / 1.1

Myles Davis, Fr. G – 4 Star (ESPN) / 3 Star (Rivals)

Jalen Reynolds, Fr. F – 4 Star (ESPN) / 3 Star (Rivals)

Brandon Randolph, Fr. -  G 4 Star (ESPN) / 3 Star (Rivals)

Kamall Richards, Fr. F – 3 Star (ESPN) / 3 Star (Rivals)

Aleksandar Vezenkov, Fr. F 4.05 / 2.6 / .85 (for Aris BC, professional basketball in Greece)

Remy Abell/Transfer G from IU – 4 / 1.5 / 0.9

Eric Stenger, Sr. F – 1.8/2.3 / .2

I envision a starting lineup that looks something like this:

Semaj, Davis, Aleksander,  Philmore, Stainbrook.

Thoughts?
